Description

Playing is a universal right for all children, but despite the evidence regarding the benefits it brings for comprehensive development, it has been overvalued and not prioritized in urban agendas. This workshop seeks to create a general understanding of the value of play, clarify how it is directly related to the way in which the urban environment is planned and designed, reflect on the benefits for cities and communities - health, well-being, improvement in the perception of insecurity and in the local economy, among others—, and share strategic points, which any city can implement, to achieve it. This workshop will be given in Spanish and will not have an English translation.
