Architect from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Chile (1992), with a diploma in Urban Public Management (GPU) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2007). Between 1994 and 1995 he studied architecture and urban planning at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italy, by obtaining a scholarship from the Italian Government. Since 2019, he has been the Head of the Urban Parks Unit of the MINVU, in charge of preparing and coordinating the new National Urban Parks Policy and its Implementation Plan. He has developed part of his career as an associate architect in various housing and industrial projects, has served as advisor to the Ministry of Education in studies of educational infrastructure, and later as advisor to the Executive Secretariat of Bicentennial Works in the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism ( MINVU, 2007 – 2010).
