He was raised in the country and always enjoyed walking through the bush, down one side of the gully and up the other side to see friends. It may have been this ease of accessibility via untouched wilderness that led him to create the concept of Neuronic Parks. His background has a solid basis in horticulture and three decades of landscape architecture and construction in New Zealand and Australia. He always strived to create a sense of place that allows people to connect with the immediate and distant environment. He have completed more postgraduate studies in environmental management and being employed at Auckland Council in the parks planning and urban forest areas. His interest in mid-century architecture/urbanism and constant extension of thought have allowed me to develop ideas on how we move through our cities using the original alternative.
