She is an advisor to the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development in Mexico (GIZ) of the Climate Protection Program in Mexico's Urban Policy (CiClim) and the Cities Adapt project, from where she has promoted green infrastructure as an action against climate change in the Mexican cities. She has worked in the federal government on urban sustainability issues in the Department of Territorial and Urban Agrarian Development (SEDATU) and in the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT). She is an architect from UNAM, Master in Comparative Public Policy from FLACSO and has doctoral studies in Urbanism. She also works as a professor at the UNAM Faculty of Architecture, where she teaches Environmental Systems and has directed several undergraduate theses.
