Andrea is humbly honored to fulfill the role of CEO at Meewasin Valley Authority, a non-profit organization that exists to ensure a healthy and vibrant river valley in the Saskatoon region, Canada, with a balance between human use and conservation, for the benefit of present and future generations. Andrea’s priorities are to action the strategic priorities of Meewasin; this involves everything from public and government relations, partnership, innovation and management of both existing and new resources. Born and raised in Saskatoon, Andrea is proud of her roots and her community. She volunteers as a mentor through Leadership Saskatoon. Andrea also serves as a Board Member on Discover Saskatoon and Wanuskewin Heritage Park, and committee member of the City of Saskatoon’s Indigenous Technical Advisory Group as well as Trans Canada Trail Indigenous Advisory Committee.
