With more than 20 years’ experience in the planning, design, delivery and management of public spaces, Fiona currently works for the New South Wales (Australia) Government as the Director, Open Space. With the ever-growing understanding of the importance of public spaces in our cities and communities, Fiona is working across all levels of Governments and with industry, stakeholders and the community to ensure that public spaces are central in the planning and decision making for our towns and cities. Managing excess of $450 million (AUD) of public space programs and leading a multidisciplinary team, Fiona´s ambition is to ensure that our public spaces are of a high-quality, innovative, resilient and inclusive for all.
