Clare is very passionate about our natural environment and particularly the preservation of cultural landscapes, natural systems and provision of quality parks to support community health and wellbeing. Her aim is to help others realise the importance of parks and to ensure that they are considered at all levels of planning. Following a long career in senior planning roles in local government working with the community to deliver urban parks and forests, Clare has spent the last 4 years with Parks Victoria in park planning roles delivering projects including the Woowookarung Regional Park’s Strategic Directions Plan and Health Activation Plan, and Parks Victoria’s Land Management Strategy.
